2007 PIFF Issues Call For Submissions
Deadline of September 21 for submissions.
PENSACOLA, Fla., August 28, 2007: The 2007 Pensacola International Film Festival has announced its Call for Submissions for both dramatic and documentary features, and short film entries. Submission forms can be completed directly online at the official PIFF website at www.pensacolafilmfestival.com. The 2007 Pensacola International Film Festival will be held Oct. 26-28 with screenings in Pensacola, Florida and Gulf Breeze, Florida.
All films submitted for consideration must meet the following requirements. Pensacola International Film Festival accepts three genres of films:
- Feature films must be at least 72 minutes in length.
- Documentary films must be at least 55 minutes in length
- Short narrative or documentaries must be at least 5 minutes in length but less than 55 minutes in length.
Submissions will be accepted on DVD or VHS but only NTSC copies can be viewed. Tapes and DVDs will not be returned unless packaging and postage is included.
Submissions should include the name and contact information for the submitter as well as a synopsis of the film. Necessary press material is much appreciated.
Submissions will close on Sept. 21, 2007 and final screening schedule will be announced on Oct. 5, 2007. The festival will make every effort to welcome and accommodate the filmmakers who wish to attend. Submission fees are a flat $20 made payable to the Pensacola Film Festival.
